FlexiTemp®
Cool or Cosy’s FlexiTemp® ducted air conditioning systems offer you flexibility; providing a second sensor point (usually in the Master Bedroom) which allows correct temperature control when your daytime/living area zone is turned off. The FlexiTemp® feature allows you to measure and regulate the exact temperature wherever it is positioned.
FlexiTemp Ultra® takes control to a new dimension
FlexiTemp UItra® not only provides you with the ability to set a different temperature in each zone, it’s electronic zoning system is so sophisticated; it senses changes in heat loads and reacts accordingly.
The sun moving through the sky can affect heat load. Likewise, changes in seasons… or even turning on appliances. In fact, heat load can be affected by the simple process of a person passing through a room.
FlexiTemp Ultra® technology ensures air flow is perfectly balanced and provides the ideal temperature no matter what the conditions. This not only ensures your level of comfort, but also reduces energy consumption.
The FlexiTemp® series are available up to 18kw’s in Single Phase electricity, to help avoid costly electrical upgrades.
Copeland Scroll Technology
The Copeland Scroll is known as the best compressor worldwide and provides you with higher efficiency, lower sound levels, superior durability and unsurpassed reliability.
Copeland’s unique patented scroll design enhances reliability by its superior ability to survive liquid problems, that is, the scroll spirals separate when liquid refrigerant or foreign material is introduced.
Durability is based on a very robust design and contains only a few moving parts. Because the Copeland Scroll starts unloaded, strain on the motor is considerably reduced. At rough operating conditions, the spirals come apart, protecting the compressor from damage. In fact, the performance of a Copeland Scroll gets better with time, that is, it “wears in”, not out.
Today’s market puts more emphasis on low-sound systems. The Copeland Scroll is by far the quietest compressor in the industry since its compression is accomplished through a continuous smooth compression process. There is no noise associated with valves or piston strokes. Discharge gas and vibrations are kept at a low level.
Sleep Mode
The Sleep Mode function is also called “Energy Saving” mode, it’s working philosophy is that:
- during cooling operation, set temperature increases by 1°c hourly and will keep unchanged after 2 hours;
- during heating operation, set temperature decreases by 1°c hourly and will keep unchanged after 2 hours; and
- 12 hour time clock.

Designed and manufactured in Queensland and Western Australia specifically for local conditions.
Some examples of our componentry differences include:
- ducting is lined with 50mm polyester insulation;
- extra heavy wire which ensures the integrity of the ducting;
- 25 year warranty* on the ducting only;
- the underside of the outlets are insulated;
- the Supply and Return Air Plenums are P3 insulated;
- superior controllers ensure excellent performance; and
- Cool or Cosy only use metal barrels, giving you a 5 year warranty* on zone motors, grills and fittings (instead of the usual 1 year given for plastic barrels).
The above features ensure peak performance, prevent condensation and loss of cooling/heating capacity.
