Townsend Park Retirement Lifestyle Estate provides a luxury retirement lifestyle for the residents of its over 100 units, cottages and apartments.

In June of 2011, residents of Townsend Park Lifestyle estate made the decision to safeguard themselves against rising electricity costs. Cool or Cosy responded, helping the residents achieve long term certainty in relation to their electricity bills through the installation of 38 individual Solar PV systems totalling 59.0kw. Since the installation Cool or Cosy has maintained a close working relationship with Townsend Park residents and management installing further systems on new buildings and servicing and maintaining existing systems.

This project demonstrated our capability with large scale installations and the complexities that a site such as Townsend Park has with regards to the many individual stake-holders and the ‘Sub-metering’ of their individual use.

The project involved 11 days of onsite work and has delivered exceptional savings since installation.

Output is on target with projections and all project costs were within budget.

Townsend Park has since contracted us for further installations at the site, and we continue to be their sole approved Solar provider.
