Register for the Home Battery Subsidy
The State Government is providing more affordable, reliable energy for everyone with the introduction of the South Australian Home Battery Scheme
Cool or Cosy makes it easy for you. We apply for the SA home battery subsidy, supply and install the battery.
The SA home battery subsidy is available to all South Australians and is calculated on the kilowatt per hour capacity of the battery. Energy Concession Holders are eligible for a higher subsidy, so low-income households can also access the home battery scheme.
For example, a battery with 5kW/hr of storage could receive a $1000 subsidy, or $1500 for Energy Concession Holders on the Home Battery Scheme.
A solar battery will save you money.
Any energy generated by your solar panels that you don’t use during the day is stored in the battery. This can be used when the sun goes down. When you store and use more energy from your solar panels, you use less from the grid. As well as resulting in smaller electricity bills for you, it will also help reduce network demand, especially in summer when air conditioners cause peaks in electricity demand.
Stop exporting your high value solar for only a few cents per kilowatt-hour.
Store it and avoid paying for peak power ever again!
Home Battery Storage will help you maximise the benefit from your rooftop solar panels and take more control over your grid energy use.
