The South Australian Government has announced a decrease in the Home Battery Scheme to become effective on 15 April 2020. The maximum subsidy is dropping from $6000 to $4000.
South Australian’s are now eligible for a subsidy of up to $6,000, and also able to apply for a low-interest loan to help pay for a solar battery system.
Individual battery storage rebates of up to $6,000 will be granted to help with the purchase of the batteries, a graded subsidy level will add more support to low-income households.
